  • The Brookings Area Transportation Plan (BATP) will serve as a set of recommendations and guidelines for improving Brookings’ infrastructure, such as roads, bike lanes, and walking paths in the community. This Plan is a collaborative effort between the City of Brookings, City of Aurora, Brookings County, and the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT).

    To help us determine what needs to be addressed as part of this transportation plan, please share your experiences and preferences with transportation in Brookings and the surrounding area by March 7, 2025.
