  • 8-minute timer iconSelf-driving vehicles have and will continue to transform our daily travel. With your help the Minnesota Department of Transportation is planning for this future technology with its connected and automated vehicles (CAV) program (another term for self-driving vehicles). Minnesota is a national leader in this space and our goal is to make sure Minnesotans have a voice in how our state prepares for the future. Help us by taking this short, eight-minute survey. Your responses to this survey will be used to guide conversations and decisions related to connected and automated vehicle technology across the state. Thank you.

  • Definition: Automated vehicle technologies take control of some or all driving tasks. This includes cruise control, parking and lane assist functions all the way to fully self-driving vehicles.

All data will only be shared in aggregate and individuals will not be identified. To the extent you provide information that identifies yourself, your business, or how to contact you, that information may be protected from disclosure under the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act. Minors have the right to request that parental access to such information be denied. Identifying information will only be accessible to MnDOT employees whose job reasonably requires access, to anyone you specifically authorize to receive the information, pursuant to court order, and by any other person or entity authorized by state or federal law. You are not required to respond to this survey and there are no consequences for not responding.
