The North Dakota Aeronautics Commission oversees a wide range of aviation services across the state. In addition to commercial air travel, these services support freight delivery, emergency medical services, agricultural operations, airport facilities, and private aircraft. Unmanned Aerial Systems, commonly known as drones, continue to be developed between the United State military, the University of North Dakota, and GrandSky at the Grand Forks Air Force Base.
As part of the Transportation Connection Update: 2025-2050, North Dakota’s Long-Range Transportation Plan, this survey aims to better understand how residents, businesses, and communities use and experience these aviation services. Your input will help shape the future of aviation investment in North Dakota.
This survey will close on February 27, 2026.
