The submission window for the Create-a-Sign Contest will close on May 13th, 2026. You will be notified if your submission is selected as a finalist, as a winner, or as an honorable mention.

Before you complete your submission into the contest, please review the contest rules for eligibility:
1. You may only enter one sign into the contest.
2. Your home address must be in Lake County.
3. You are a current student in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade.
4. If participating in a group, all group members are current students in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grades.
5. If participating in a group, your group may only enter one sign into the contest.
6. Your sign was not created using AI.
