Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority’s (CCJPA's) Alviso Railroad Adaptation Planning Study (Study) is conducting resiliency planning along the Union Pacific Coast Subdivision rail corridor between Albrae (Fremont/Newark) and Alviso. CCJPA is the managing agency of the Capitol Corridor intercity passenger rail service, connecting Northern California communities from the greater Sacramento region to the San Francisco Bay Area. You can find more information about the Study at AlvisoRailroad.com.
CCJPA wants to hear from community members about how they think this future transportation project could benefit them and their families. By identifying community benefits at this early planning stage, CCJPA can better incorporate recommendations into future decision-making processes related to service improvements along the Capitol Corridor.
Thank you for taking the time to share your input. Your involvement makes a meaningful difference in advancing this work toward a more resilient future.
